Economically priced home brand of the Albert Heijn supermarket in the Netherlands. As the taste and texture stand comparison with the branded slices, we think it is a good option for a cheese sandwich.

These Mild slices from German vegan cheesemaker Simply V have a pleasant savoury taste. We found it hard to classify the taste though. More for lack of a better alternative we marked it as Gouda-style.

A wedge out of a Dutch-style cheese wheel, one out of a range with different tastes, here tomato & olive. The looks are good, and Max & Bien's website states "the tastiest alternative to cheese". Does it live up to this promise for us?
